About Gonca Gürses van Herpen

She was a professional opera singer until she discovered the healing powers of the human voice. In 2006, she studied the “Sound Healing” technique with Jonathan Goldman, Laraaji, Sarah Benson, Lama Tashi, and Gregg Braden in Colorado and received her Sound Healer certificate. She became the first Turkish Sound Healing Therapist in Turkey.

Since 2002 she has been exercising different healing techniques like healing with Gem Stones & Tuning forks, Crystal Bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, Reiki, Kundalini Reiki, Silver Violet Flame, Ra-Sheeba, Munay-Ki, The Rite of the Womb, Shamballa MDH, Advanced Shamanic Healing, etc. 

In 2017 August, she moved with her family from İstanbul to Eemnes.

She met with cacao for the first time in 2019 in the cacao ceremony she attended in the Netherlands upon the invitation she received in her meditation. Gonca was fascinated by the gentle and compassionate energy of cacao. Later, she gave Sacred Sound and Cacao Ceremonies in Turkey and Holland with her cacaoista friend Kübra Saatçıoğlu with whom she completed her cacao plant medicine training and became a cacaoista in April 2021.

Gonca created her own technique by bringing together what she has learned throughout her life. She is on her life path with the desire and excitement of introducing the magic of Healing Sounds and Cacao together which is sacred alchemy that resonates, transforms, and connects you with your inner self, power, beautiful light, true essence.

Sound explorer Gonca, still continues learning, giving face-to-face and online individual Shamanic Healing sessions, Sound Healing therapies, group workshops, retreats, trainings, lectures, voice & sound journeys, sacred sound and cacao ceremonies, concerts in the Netherlands and Turkey.
